You moved your life.
Your circle didn’t move with you.

The house is beautiful. The mornings are good. The business runs from anywhere now.

But the people who knew you before — the ones you could call without a reason — are eight time zones away. And the conversations here rarely go past the weather, visas and where to eat.

Building a real circle in a new place takes years. Unless someone does the work of putting the right people in the same room.

Philosophy

Friendship → Trust → Business

Friendship

People you actually enjoy being around. Not contacts. Not connections. People.

Trust

Built through time and shared experiences — dinners, trips, conversations that go somewhere.

Business

Opportunities happen naturally between people who know and trust each other. They are never the point of the evening.

The Table

It starts around one table.

Ten to twelve carefully selected people. One table.

No speakers. No presentations. No pitching.

Good food. Honest conversation. Interesting people.

Why I started FTB

I meet people for a living. Real estate in Asia runs on introductions, and I will start a conversation anywhere — a lift, a gym, the back of a taxi. No script, no preparation. If there were a shortcut to finding your people in a new country, I would have found it. There isn’t one.

I have met hundreds of people on this island. Very few of them became friends. Dinners that turned into pitch sessions, chat groups full of noise, rooms where everyone was politely working out what everyone else wanted. All of it was networking. None of it was what I was missing.

What I was missing was smaller than that. Three or four people who would pick up the phone on a Tuesday for no reason at all.

So I stopped waiting for it to happen and started building it on purpose. Ten or twelve people around one table, chosen carefully, because the room is the whole thing. Friendship first. Trust takes time. Business comes last, if it comes at all — and only because the first two were real.

I read every application myself.

Your people may already be here.

You just haven’t met them yet.
